Personal Information
About me: My family inspired in me a passion for travel and discovering new places at a young age. We traveled extensively around the country, using travel as an extended classroom. I have lived and studied in Spain, spending my free time traveling Europe. During this time I fell in love with seeing the world. My most recent trips have taken me to Peru, Panama and Mexico, allowing me to apply my education in Latin American Studies with my passion for travel.
Why I love being a travel agent: Whether it’s a few hours drive or halfway across the globe, traveling is about learning your destination’s culture, history, cuisine and its people. Through travel you learn about yourself as well as about destinations in our ever-smaller world. I can’t imagine a more enriching experience!
Favorite destinations: My favorite country to explore is Spain. With its rich and diverse history and culture, there is never enough time to experience it all! Whether you are into gastronomy, architecture, spectator sports, the beach, art or anything in between, Spain has something to offer you!
About my recent vacation: I spent two weeks in 2011 touring Southern Peru - Lima - Arequipa, “The White City” - Colca Canyon, the deepest canyon in the world - and Paracas, where the desert and sea come together in spectacular landscapes! Of course I topped it off with time in Cusco and the breathtaking Machu Picchu. In the summer of 2009 I spent four weeks touring Europe. The first stop was my favorite city of Madrid, then on to my first visit to Paris. Next I relaxed on the beautiful Cote d'Azur in Nice. In Italy I couldn't miss Rome and the stunning views of the Amalfi Coast. I rounded off the trip with some history in Athens and finally more fabulous beaches in Mykonos.
